Workshops
We bring imagination to life: one miniature at a time.
Our workshops and services combine creativity, storytelling, and hands-on making, offering unique experiences for organisations, museums, schools, and events. Whether you're looking for a playful team activity, an artistic workshop, or expert support for a game-related project, we’ve got you covered.

Tabletop gaming is experiencing a powerful revival, and with good reason. It’s a growing hobby that blends art, pop culture, storytelling, design, and face-to-face social interaction. At its best, it becomes a shared language for people of all backgrounds.
We can create a space for creativity and connection through painting miniatures, designing game pieces, or role-playing around a table. It’s an especially welcoming medium for people who may be less socially fluent or neurodivergent; offering structured, low-pressure ways to engage with others and express themselves.
We see tabletop gaming not just as play, but as a cultural practice with enormous potential. It’s where craft meets imagination, and where people build worlds together: sometimes literally, piece by piece.
Our work invites participants to step into that space. To build a creature out of broken toys. To craft a tiny tower and ask: who lives here? To laugh together over strange inventions. To create, share, and imagine.
We love collaborating with organisations, artists, educators and communities to explore the many forms this can take: from creative workshops to worldbuilding projects, interactive exhibits or playful installations.
Tabletop Gaming: Art, Play & Community
Kitbashing
A creative technique where participants build new characters or creatures using old model kits, toys, and recycled materials.
The workshop begins with a collaborative "exquisite corpse"-style game, followed by time to develop a personal piece. Participants learn sculptural construction, material reuse, and how to let go of perfection in favour of discovery.
This workshop is perfect for artists, tinkerers, gamers, or anyone who loves making things with their hands. It’s also a great entry point for those who are less confident in traditional art techniques: kitbashing invites you to make a mess and see what emerges.
Creative Workshops
We offer a range of accessible, hands-on workshops suitable for ages 13 and up. Each one introduces participants to essential creative techniques while fostering experimentation, collaboration and imagination.

Miniature Painting
This workshop introduces participants to the beautiful, meditative art of miniature painting. Using fine brushes and high-quality paints, we guide attendees through the process of bringing tiny characters, creatures, or objects to life with colour, texture and personality.
We begin the session with a collaborative exercise where everyone paints on a shared test model, trying out techniques like drybrushing, washes, layering and highlighting. This low-pressure warm-up encourages experimentation and helps participants understand how paint behaves at a small scale. After the warm-up, each person chooses a miniature to paint themselves: either one they created in a previous kitbashing workshop or one we provide.
Miniature painting is a wonderfully grounding activity. Great for people interested in character design, fantasy art, gaming, or just looking to try a new tactile, creative skill.

Terrain Building Workshop
In this imaginative and tactile workshop, we guide participants through the process of building miniature terrain: tiny environments where stories happen.
From gnarled trees and crooked towers to bubbling swamps or dusty ruins, terrain pieces help bring fantasy worlds to life. Using sculpting materials, foam, textured paste, natural elements and found objects, we create detailed miniature landscapes that fit in the palm of your hand. We offer both more technical workshops, in which we dive into materials and tools, but also a more loose workshop which centres around storytelling: here we collaboratively create a world by filling up a blank map.
This workshops are ideal for the curious and creative, who are interested in storytelling. No previous skills are required. It’s a unique blend of sculpture, set design, and worldbuilding.
